Vice President, General Manager
Andrew Peck is the broker owner, vice-president and general manager of Royal Pacific Realty Group. He oversees more than 1,250 residential and commercial REALTORS® and a staff of 30 in five offices, as well as New World Realty, which together sold more than $15.1 billion worth of real estate in 2016.
A committed, engaged volunteer, Andrew Peck was recently elected President of the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) for 2017. CREA represents more than 100,000 licensed Realtors® in 100 real estate associations and boards across Canada.
Andrew Peck served as a CREA director for the past seven years and prior to this was president of the BC Real Estate Association (2007), representing 19,000 Realtors®, and president of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (2004), representing 12,300 Realtors®.
While serving as president of the REBGV, Andrew helped establish a new government relations department, successfully lobbying for changes to the Property Transfer Tax and the Home Owner Grant. He has also been at the forefront of asking for changes to local government zoning to allow sustainable density in the form of smaller lots and coach homes.
A fourth-generation British Columbian, Andrew started his real estate career in 1983, fresh out of university with a bachelor of commerce degree, by knocking on neighbourhood doors in Vancouver for listings. By 1987 he had become a managing broker. In 1996, he merged several companies to form Royal Pacific Realty Group which serves the Metro Vancouver area.
Leader, mentor, coach, advocate and friend – with a terrific sense of humour – are how his colleagues, students and sales team describe him.
Andrew regularly helps Boards with progressive governance, teaches leadership courses for CREA and guides young professionals. He’s a former piper with the SFU Pipe Band, an avid boater, a hobby chef, a devoted husband, and a caring father to Marshall.
